All the toys
These are the tools that have helped me to create all of these images.
Cameras
Canon EOS RP
A very simple 26 megapixel full frame mirrorless camera.
This lacks a lot of the latest cutting edge features which is great as it forces me to slow down and concentrate more on crafting the shot.
Canon EOS R7
A lightning fast 32 megapixel APSC camera with an additional 1.6x reach and shooting up to 30 frames per second.
Perfect for when I don’t want to miss that far away split second action.
Lenses
Canon RF 24-105 f4 L USM
My main lens. Great overall sharpness throughout it’s range and super versatile.
This is nearly always on my Canon EOS RP
Canon RF 100-400 f5.6-8 IS USM
Great reach and superb image stabilisation when partnered with my Canon EOS R7 where it spends most of it’s time.
Canon RF 16 f2.8 STM
My ultra wide 16mm has surprising good image quality and renders stars sharper than you would expect for a low budget lens. Minimal diffraction and coma make this an absolute must for basic astro photography.
Drones
DJI Air 2 S
A solid, fast, and stable drone. Even in the hardest of weather conditions this is still able to produce excellent pictures with it’s 1 inch sensor and fantastic 4K video that retains rich, liflelike colours due to it’s DLog video capabilities.
DJI Mini 2
Lightweight and barely noticeable. This allows me to get footage in areas that a heavier drone wouldn’t be advised.
