Hi, I’m Daniel.

An amateur photographer based in Devon in the South West UK.

I’m also a bit of a nerd. I love music. love movies. love whiskey, and love photography.

It all started in my much younger days playing around with my Dad’s old Minolta SLR.

Then, for my 25th birthday my Mum bought me my own Pentax SLR.

Not long after, mobile phones with cameras became a thing, and before you know it I was flying drones and seeing everything from a new perspective. Like I said, a bit of a nerd!

Then, I turned 50, and decided I needed a new activity to get me up and about. So again, my Mum bought me a new camera (#Legend!). This time a Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless. And that was it. I was obsessed!

Now, after 2 years, hundreds of hours of Youtube tutorials, countless miles of moorland and coastline, various photography book reading (looking at the pictures), I finally decided to create a website.
